Abstract
Generally, clinical symptoms of acute transverse myelitis (ATM) evolve as para- or tetraparesis, a sensory level or sphincter dysfunction. Furthermore, recent proposed criteria for ATM have generally included bilateral signs and/or symptoms in addition to defined sensory level. However we observed a 65-year-old woman presenting with sudden-onset left pure sensory change as a unique neurological
deficit. The patient diagnosed as cerebrospinal fluid study and the magnetic resonance images of brain, thoracic and cervical spines.
